HDFC Bank Net 33 Pc At Rs 1,114.7 Cr In Fourth Quarter

HDFC Bank announced Monday that it has posted 33.24 per cent increase in net profit of rs 1114.71 crore for the quarter ended March 2011 against Rs 836.62 crore in the previous quarter ended March 2010. Operating profit increased by 34.92 per cent of R 5468.55 crore for the quarter ended March 2011 against Rs 4053.11 crore in the previous quarter ended March 2010.

It revised full year, net income increased 33.16 per cent to Rs 3926.39 crore for the year ending March 2011 against Rs 2948.69 crore in the previous year ending March 2010. Total operating income rose 23.22 per cent to Rs 19,928.21 crore in the year ending March 2011 against Rs 16,172.73 crore the previous year ending March 2010.

The consolidated results for the year, the bank posted a net profit of R 3992.49 crore for the fiscal year in March 2011 against R 3003.65 crore the previous year ending March 2010. The total reported operating income to Rs 20,043.34 crore for the fiscal year in March 2011 against Rs 16,232.74 crore the previous year ending March 2010.
